It’s the same kind of unexpected balance I enjoy in an Instant Pot Potato

Growing up in a tiny village, I remember the first time I tasted a fresh salsa that wasn’t just tomatoes and onions. When I started experimenting with baked chicken drumsticks, I wanted to find a way to make them crispy without sacrificing juiciness. Why I’m Thinking About Pecan Pie Differently Ever notice how some memories sneak up on you just as you’re rolling out pie dough? Hi, I’m Mahek Manchanda the curious heart behind Dramatically Stirring.

I’ve always been most at ease in my own company. I’m not exactly a people-person (small talk still makes me cringe), but there are two things I’ve always loved with my whole heart: animals and food.

Pixie and Pepper, my two cats, have become the quiet constants in my everyday life. Pixie is the soft, watchful one who pretends not to care but never lets me out of her sight, and Pepper is the mischievous little spark who somehow ends up in every sunny spot and every photo I don’t plan to take.
