Ingredients
  

  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • ½ cup butter, sliced into pats
  • 1 can  of cream of chicken soup
  • 3 chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • 1 can  cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 can  cream of celery soup
  • 2 cups instant white rice

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a casserole dish.
  2. In the prepared dish, stir together the chicken, water, rice, cream of chicken soup, cream of celery soup, and cream of mushroom soup.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Dot the top of the mixture with butter.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 to 1.5 hours, until the rice is tender and the chicken is fully cooked.
  6. Let the casserole cool for 10–15 minutes before serving, then enjoy.

Notes

  • For a creamy texture, use full-fat cream soups.
  • You can substitute chicken breasts with thighs for more flavor.
