  1. Preheat your cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil, letting it shimmer.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the hot oil and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant, seeing bubbles form and smelling the aromatic aroma fill the kitchen.
  3. Sprinkle in the paprika, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper, stirring quickly to coat the garlic and release vibrant, smoky fragrances, and watch as the oil turns a deep red hue.
  4. Place the shrimp into the skillet, spreading them out in a single layer, and hear a gentle sizzle as they start to cook.
  5. Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on one side, flipping them as they turn bright pink and the edges begin to curl, indicating they’re just about done.
